M5 clamp can perfectly replace the M1 and M2 clamps. Some keys are easier to hold with the M5 clamp than with the M1 or M2 clamp. For cars like the new Honda Civic, if you use the M1 and M2 clamps, you may not be able to cut at the root, but the M5 clamp can. Because the place where the M1 clamp fixes the embryo is blocked a little (The key embryo is too short, but the teeth are too long, and the embryo cannot be fully extended).

Review 1: Good tool for center cut keys Very happy with it. Have done many Gm and Honda keys with little failure rate. some keys are not in the database but the Universal option is helpful.Only keys i have trouble with are side cut keys like infinite. but i have done many Toyota and Chevy side cuts with success but that being said i am happy with this tool.

Reivew 3: Just got my XP-005 about a week ago and I totally love it. I really enjoy that it cuts automatically so it avoids all user error, its pretty lightweight so I can put it in the trunk of my sedan and the rechargeable battery let's me use it anywhere.
Many keys I do are Honda and GM flip keys so I don't have to rush to the locksmith before they close anymore.
