after two years free update expired, you still can use the device, it will not be blocked, but if you want to use newest update software, you need pay new update subscription

Yes, there is ip limit for the online programming function
The online programming function is not available in PT and ES currently, In USA, Canada and Mexico, only Benz and BMW online programming is avaiable now
