Alientech Powergate 4 is the new generation of portable control unit programmer for cars and motorcycles, designed to offer every driver a personalized driving experience of their vehicle.
The NEW Alientech Powergate tuning tool is your gateway to enhanced vehicle performance, offering the capability to fine-tune the software of your car’s engine control unit (ECU), also known as chiptuning. This handheld marvel empowers users to reprogram the ECU of their vehicle, allowing for the customization of key engine management parameters including fuel injection timing, turbo boost pressure, ignition timing, and more.
Powergate provides the unique ability to work via OBD on a single vehicle from an extensive selection of supported Powergate models, utilizing protocols shared with KESS3. This is facilitated through both an internet connection for Cloud services and Bluetooth for seamless smartphone communication, ensuring a smooth and secure interaction with your vehicle at all times.

The Powergate app is compatible with the most widely used smartphone operating systems: iOS, Android, and EMUI, offering an intuitive tuning experience through vehicle performance customization. Once paired with the smartphone, it allows access to modified files on the Cloud.
Furthermore, it’s possible to customize its skin: an effective tool for the Powergate Manager to create a distinctive visual identity, transcending geographical boundaries and differentiating from the competition.
Powergate 4 Broad Vehicle List:
Powergate has significantly expanded its global market by offering a list of compatible vehicles that is nearly 200% larger than its predecessor.
This means that the Powergate Manager can work on hundreds of thousands of vehicles, ensuring comprehensive, fast, and effective service to a wide range of customers worldwide.
Thanks to this expansion, the Powergate Manager maximizes profits and can meet the needs of a diverse clientele with similar tuning requirements.
Powergate 4 Dashboard:
The Dashboard is the dedicated control panel for the Powergate Manager, who can access it using their ALIEN_id credentials. With cross-search functionality, the Dashboard enables real-time monitoring of ongoing activities across the fleet of active devices.
On the Dashboard, users can view the number of sessions, the device count, skin customization, vehicle list and template, User profile uploads, and modified files (with up to 10 GB of space). To facilitate navigation, it is divided into 5 macro-blocks.
- Sessions: From this section, it’s possible to track in real-time the status and number of active, archived, or ongoing sessions on the associated Powergates.
- Tools: This section allows for the management and independent modification of the associated Powergates.
- Templates: Templates enable the Powergate Manager to assign a Powergate to each User. The template includes the customized skin for the application, a list of compatible vehicles, and their respective original and modified files, which can be associated using Cloud or manual mode.
- User Profile: In this section, you can upload User profiles, managing the list of associated vehicles, customizing it, or limiting it, if necessary, down to a single vehicle.
- Status Bar: The status bar on the Powergate Dashboard is the real-time session monitoring tool for all operations carried out by the User and the tool.
Powergate 4 Cloud:
Thanks to the Cloud, the Powergate Manager handles files with great ease. Indeed, they can associate the same modified (encrypted) file with multiple users if the original file matches one already present in the database. This means that different Users can benefit from a single modification.
Additionally, the Cloud provides an online storage space where all the details of the modified files and associations with the original files are kept. If automatic file association is active, the Cloud automatically matches the modified files to the originals read or downloaded from the Alientech Database. This ensures that the User can receive the modified files on their Powergate without any intervention.
Finally, another advantage of the Cloud mode is the ability to add and sell new files at a later time, making the system extremely flexible and customizable according to the specific needs of the customer.
LED Guide:
A distinctive detail of Powergate is its integrated opal LED light guide. This element provides visual feedback to the User through the use of colors.
Each color corresponds to a different state of Powergate.
- Connecting to the Vehicle: Connect the Powergate to your vehicle’s OBD port and wait for the LED strip to glow BLUE. Use the Powergate App on your smartphone with your ALIEN_id profile to access Alientech services.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Link your smartphone to Powergate via Bluetooth, activating it from your phone’s settings to pair with available devices. The LED will shine BLUE.
- Internet Connection: Ensure both Powergate and your smartphone are on the same internet network, using a WI-FI router or mobile network (Hotspot) if necessary.
- Vehicle Selection: Choose your vehicle’s brand, fuel type, and model in the App, specifying the engine size for precision. Your vehicle’s registration document can help with this.
- Identification to Writing: Begin with ECU identification, leading to ECU reading, and conclude with writing the modified file, with LED guidance changing from RED to GREEN upon completion.
