It inherits many advantages of X-431 Diagun IV, such as wide coverage of car models, powerful diagnostic functions, and accurate test data. It supports the diagnostic functions including Read DTCs, Clear DTCs, Read Data Streams, Actuation Test, Special Functions, Coding, and Matching, realizing full car model and system fault diagnosis.
Launch X431 Diagun V Functions:
1. ECU Coding
ECU Coding function is used to re-flash the vehicle control modules, it allows you to reprogram adaptive data for certain components after making repairs or replacements, providing ways for the issues of Drivability, Fuel Efficiency, Power Loss, Fault Codes, Durability of Mechanical Parts
2. Bi-directional Control(Actuation Test)
Requests a module to perform a specific test and function.This function can be use in ENGINE SYSTEM / STEERING ANGLE SYSTEM / DASHBOARD SYSTEM / EMISSION SYSTEM...etc.(depends on the specific car models, not for all cars).(Turn on and off actuators to determine whether there are problems with sensors and actuators).
3. Matching:

Has bi directional controls as well as vin wirting and or security key programming. The bluetooth connection is awesome to nt be tied to the car. JUST BUY IT YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED.
Review 4: This is an amazing little tool. It's not the quickest but it does so much for the money. I have the Verus and Autel 908. The Launch has so many more capabilities then the Snap-on. The Snap-on is much quicker, has a lab scope and built in wiring connectors pin-outs and tests but as far as being able to initialize modules, program VIN's and keys the Launch is hard to beat.
