Hello, I want to know if this device can be blocked like star c4. When changing the program, for example, xentry 2016 to 2020, is it possible to test cars from 1997 to 2020? The connection to the program is made by you or given on the IP address

Device won't get blocked. With the latest 2021 software, it can test cars from 1997-2021.
You won't need to setup the IP address to test on cars.

How to install the battery when i do the firmware update?

Hi,

The firmware update does not need to install a battery, directly connect to the car to supply power through obd, and there is no need to worry about firmware damage during the upgrade process.
