1. How to Do Lonsdor K518 Pro OBD Cable Hardware Self-Check?
How to check if the OBD cable hardware of Lonsdor K518 Pro Key Programmer is damaged or normal?
You can use the OBD hardware self-check function in the device software to test it easily.
Step-by-step guide:
Click [Immo & remote] on the main menu of K518 Pro key programmer
Select OBDII>> OBD hardware self-check>> OBD hardware self-check
Connect the 12V power supply and OBD cable to K518 Pro correctly
No need to connect OBD cable to the vehicle OBD port
The system detects the OBD cable problem “Damage detected on Pin 1”.
We disconnect the current OBD cable, and use another OBD cable to connect with Lonsdor K518 Pro device.
OBD cable self-check completed and the hardware function is normal now.
Besides, there is a small bulb symbol in the upper right corner. It can open the light of OBD cable to help users find OBD port easier in the dark.
2. How to Change Language for Lonsdor K518 Pro?
Lonsdor K518 Pro is available with multi-language. The default language is English. You can change the language yourself on the device. It’s easy to do with the following guide.
K518 PRO language supported:
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Swedish, Burmese, Khmer and Hebrew
Simple guide to switch K518 Pro language:
Connect device and WiFi
Click [Settings] on the main menu
Select [Language switch]
Select the language you desire (i.e. French)
Click OK
It will download the language package automatically.
Switch language successfully
Reboot the K518 Pro key programmer
Input the screen lock password to enter the device again
Now the language is switched to French.
