How to use "USB to RS232 cable"?

There is a 9-pin socket in the package for you to update this tool. As some PC do not have this 9-pin socket,in order to solve this problem, we have packed a converter called "USB TO RS232 Cable" to convert 9-pin socket to be USB connection.

 

However, the "USB TO RS232 CABLE" needs you do a simple preparation before you can freely use it.

 

1) Please find a drive program in the little disk we give you or we email you. Please install the USB-232 FILE FOLDER's -------R340, and click HL340 to install in the default path.

 

2) When you have installed the software, please plug in the USB head, and the computer will recognize the HL-340 converter automatically, what you need to do is just click NEXT STEP.

 

3) Click the icom of MY COMPUTER on your desktop, use the right key of your mouse to click out the COMPUTER MANAGEMENT, choose FACILITY MANAGEMENT, and choose (COM & LPT), you will able to see USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM X). Please remember the number of COM X. You will use hte number in the process of your updates.

 

4) Every time, when you do the update, you will see a diaglogue box, there is one option related with COM X, please select the COM X number you find in the last step.
