Works Great with FORScan Diagnostic software!

I am very happy with the Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB Adapter. I am not a professional mechanic. I needed an adapter to read and program the PSCM on my Ford Fusion. This Adapter works great with the FORScan Diag software, I have had no lock-ups, no retries on reading codes, no issues programming the PSCM, and as a bonus, I don't have to toggle a switch when reading the HS/MS CAN buses.
I had purchased another cheaper adapter to use with the FORScan software, but it locked up several times and required a restart of the software, and I had to toggle a switch to get reads from both CAN buses. I did not trust it to reprogram a control module.

What more can I say? I used it with Forscan to adjust some settings on my car. It connected to the software flawlessly and worked without problem. It was also the cheaper of the options for forscan. That being said, it is kind of a one-trick pony with Fords. If you have other brands too, you might want to look at the other options for variety and capability. However, if you have a ford only, this one is fine.
